Today, we're going to go over the general roles and procedures of the C Weather station for our fee waiver volunteers. Before we jump into it, I want to give you a little brief overview of our clinic flowcharts. Here, our applicants would come into the clinic and the first place they would go to is the registration station. At the registration station, they would get registered and fill out what's called the intake form. This form can either be documented on our case manager program known as Salesforce or we can assist them in filling it out. We collect their intake forms and hand them over to our exit station coordinator, who picks up the blue intake folders at the end. The blue intake folders are held onto by the applicants all the way until the end of the station arm. So, that's the registration station. Then, we send them over to the legal station where individuals undergo pre-screening and legal review by a lawyer or representative. After that, if they get a green sticker, they go to station 400. If they get a blue sticker, they go to the fee waiver station. Based on the lawyer's review of their tax returns and/or government assistance documentation like SNAP, Medicaid, etc., the lawyer determines whether they're eligible for the fee waiver. If they are eligible, we serve them at station four, which is the fee waiver station. Once we're done filling out their forms, such as the Ni-912 (full fee waiver) or the I-942 (reduced fee waiver), we send them over to the exit station for any final instructions before they mail their application.
